We procure Allam from Kohir and Zaheerabad in Sangareddy district, Telangana. Kohir, in local slang, means 'Red Diamond' aptly indicating the fertile red soil you find there which is very conducive for Allam cultivation.
Mamidi Allam :

Mamidi Allam has a distinctive taste that is a blend of the flavour of a Mango combined with that of Ginger. We procure Mamidi Allam from Tenali in Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh.
